Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This site (noiab3d.cc) is run by David Serrano, a freelance Motion, 3D and UX/UI designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. This policy explains what data I collect through this site, why, and what your rights are. If anything here is unclear, email me at noiab3d@proton.me.
What I collect
Contact form. If you send me a message, I receive your name, email address, subject, message, and your IP address. This is sent to my inbox so I can reply to you, and your IP is also used briefly to prevent spam (see “Spam protection” below).
Analytics. This site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to see aggregated traffic and performance data (e.g. page views, load times). These tools don't use cookies and don't store anything that identifies you personally.
Stored only on your own device. While filling the contact form, your draft is saved to your browser's local storage so you don't lose it if you navigate away — it's cleared automatically once you send the message. None of this ever reaches me — it stays on your device.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (a captcha alternative) to block bots, and a simple limit of two messages per day per IP address. Your IP is checked against this limit and the counter automatically expires after 24 hours — I don't keep a history of who submitted what beyond the message itself.
Who else sees your data
I use a few third-party services to run this site. None of them are given more data than they need to do their job:
- Resend — delivers your contact form message to my inbox.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — verifies you're not a bot when you submit the form.
- Vercel — hosts this site and provides the analytics mentioned above.
- Cloudinary — hosts the images and videos shown in my project gallery (not involved in any of your personal data).
These are all established providers with their own privacy and security practices, and some (Resend, Cloudflare, Vercel) are based in the United States, meaning your data may be processed there under their respective data protection safeguards.
How long I keep it
Contact form messages stay in my email inbox until I delete them — I don't keep a separate database of submissions. Spam-prevention counters expire automatically after 24 hours. Your IP address also briefly appears in short-lived application logs used for debugging.
Cookies
This site itself does not set any cookies. The only cookie that may be set is by Cloudflare Turnstile, and only when you interact with the contact form — it's required for the spam-check to work and falls under “strictly necessary” use, so no separate cookie banner is shown for it.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask me to access, correct, delete, or export the data I hold about you, or object to how it's used. Just email noiab3d@proton.me and I'll sort it out. If you feel I haven't handled your data properly, you can also file a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority, the CNPD.
Changes to this policy
If I change how this site handles your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
